MAIN HOUSE
Shona
Shona is an elegant and spacious room that leaves you feeling truly spoiled. Wake up to spectacular mountain views, without the need to leave the comfort of the luxurious king size bed. Calming neutrals echo through the bedroom, punctuated by a little red vintage chair looking out across the water to Castle Bharrich. The original wooden floors, cornicing and ceiling rose give the room a period feel, that is quietly underpinned by modern simplicity.
With light-ochre walls and an original fireplace, Shona’s adjoining ensuite bathroom has an intimate feel. In the centre of the room, a wonderfully deep free-standing bath is perfectly located to make the most of the views, and a deep green velvet chair invites you to sit down and stay a while. The twin sinks, marble-clad shower and deliciously soft waffle towels add that extra touch of luxury that will make you want to linger.

FLORA
Flora is our loft sanctuary at the top of the house. Occupying the entire floor, over three separate spaces, Flora’s low ceilings and original wood panelling imbue an air of traditional charm. An oak staircase leads up to a light and spacious landing, to the right, is a snug double bedroom with bespoke built-in bed. To the left, is a cosy bathroom featuring an opulent bath-tub with views of Castle Varrich, perfectly framed by an elegant picture window. The end of the landing leads into an atmospheric lounge with with deep forest green walls and ceilings, instilling a sense of tranquility and calm. Period-inspired details such as an open fireplace, antique writing desk and statement lamp, are paired with a contemporary sofa from iconic Danish brand &tradition, giving a modern edge to the space.

ISLA
Isla is an arty haven of relaxation with a creative edge. Soft earthy tones bring a calming warmth and the comfy window seat invites you to sit and savour the views across to Ben Hope and beyond. Vintage details like the velvet corner couch and curiosity cabinet add to this room’s modern eclectic feel.
Elegant double doors open up to reveal Isla’s hidden gem; a statement bathroom adorned with blush-toned mural from Claire Basler, bringing more than a touch of romance to the room. A claw-footed bathtub, twin sinks and decadent marble-clad walk-in shower, ensure this bathroom is deeply luxurious.

GWENDOLYN
Gwendolyn is our cosy and intimate hideaway for two. Stepping into the bedroom, the statement bathtub by the window immediately captures the imagination, and makes for a scenic way to unwind. Take a deep breath and sink into the sumptuous king size bed, feeling the warmth of buff-coloured linen and buttery soft wool blankets. The layout is open-plan throughout and features a little seating area with wicker chairs and wooden trunk table that is perfect for reading, or enjoying a morning coffee in your own little sanctuary. Three steps lead off the bedroom down to an atmospheric marble en-suite, with walk-in shower and skylight window offering glimpses of the trees outside.

THE STEADINs
STUDIOS
Situated in the original steading buildings, the Lundies studio rooms have a stripped back, contemporary loft feel. Exposed brick work in warm rust tones meets the seamless lines of oak walls, celebrating the beauty of simplicity. Modernist Crittal windows allow light to stream in from the courtyard outside, but are softened by heavy wool curtains. Double-height ceilings add spaciousness, making the studios ideal for working or practicing yoga during your stay. Heated polished concrete floors add that feeling of warmth and comfort throughout.
Studio 4 is the most compact room, situated to the left of the courtyard, featuring a king size bed, shower room and separate toilet.
Studio 6 has views across the courtyard, king size bed, open shower room and a separate toilet, as well as a small mezzanine sitting area. This studio also has a work space.
Studio 12 is our largest studio, with a generous en-suite bathroom and a shower bench, as well as an upstairs sitting area. Disable accessible

THE STEADING
THE BOTHAN
The Bothan is our cosy self-catering apartment in Lundies courtyard. Designed to be shared with family or friends, sleeping up to 4, ideal for those with younger children. The interior is a beautiful yet practical, on the ground floor, the open plan layout makes for easy living, whether preparing dinner in the kitchen or relaxing on the comfy velvet sofas. An uncomplicated pallet of materials, such as natural oak walls and polished concrete floors, brings an effortless simplicity to the space. A modern bathroom with large shower is adjacent to the kitchen and minimal wooden shelving surrounds the living area, displaying a small carefully curated library.
Traditional style skylights and wood panelling, give the upstairs an airy attic feel. Here, a double room with built-in box bed, and and twin across the landing, provide snug sleeping spaces under the eaves.
With direct access to the shared courtyard, guests are welcome to make the most of this communal space. For evenings when you may feel you don’t wish to cook, you may be able to join us in the main house to ‘Dine at Lundies’. If you wish to create more of an occasion, feel free to light our Green Egg for an impromptu BBQ under the summer sun, or indeed the winter stars.
Your four-legged family members needn’t be left at home, we love to welcome dogs to our Studio Rooms and in the Bothan.
