Luxury Art Hotel in the Scottish Highlands

ADVENTURE

The village of Tongue provides a centrally located base that is ideal for exploring the surrounding landscape and wider area. Depending on the desired activity-level there are a multitude of hills climb, including Scotland’s most northerly Munro, Ben Hope. The path to the historical ruin of Castle Varrich offers a more leisurely stroll, with great all-round views from the summit.

Take the Lundies e-bikes to explore the coastline of unspoilt sandy beaches which you may well have all to yourself.  We have wetsuits available, and our team always happy to share inside information on our favourite wild swimming spots. There is great surf to be had here too, all year round.

Across the Kyle at near-by Talmine beach, paddle boarding and coasteering are also available by arrangement.  This offers an excellent opportunity to get out and enjoy the water, in a safe and friendly environment. All are welcome, regardless or experience, from beginner to seasoned expert.

Enhancing the wellbeing of our guests is something we are care deeply about. Whether enjoying an invigorating wild swim or plunge in our wild dipping pool, to practising an enlivening morning yoga exercise, there are several ways you can unwind during your time at Lundies.

We recommend bringing hiking boots and suitable outerwear to really get the most out of your outdoor adventures here in the North.
