Meet Marta and James

Lundie House is a special place with wonderful guests for whom we will do our outmost to give a very special experience. From the moment you arrive you will be introduced to the unique family style idea of the house. Softly serviced by a keen and capable Wildland staff that will make your stay memorable and enjoyable.

Marta Verdú is our Front of house Manager at Lundies, with a wealth of experience managing high end restaurants such as Wentworth Golf Club and Michelin Star restaurant, Grön in Helsinki. Originally from Valencia, on the east coast of Spain and with a background in Graphic Design, Marta loves to share her love for art and design with others. She is fuelled by her passion to combine excellent food with great service. Marta enjoys spending time outdoors, horse riding and yoga, and has a keen eye for detail. She is a wonderful host with a warm and caring personality that will make you feel very much at home.

James Wilson is our Head Chef at Lundies, gaining a wealth of experience in fine dining whilst working in Michelin starred restaurants such as Grön in Helsinki and Oaxen Krog in Stockholm. Born and raised in a small village in Berkshire, in the South East of England, he discovered his passion for cooking at only 17 years of age. Since then, he has been thriving and combining traditional French/British cuisine with a new nordic twist. His food is simple, honest, tasty and unique. He enjoys being connected to nature, foraging and cooking with local fresh produce
